Faculty Enrichment Webinar for teachers in higher education | 10 December

The National Resource Centre for Education (NRCE), established at the National Institute of Educational Planning and Administration (NIEPA) is a key component under the Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya National Mission on Teachers and Teaching (PMMMNMTT), envisaged to address comprehensively all issues related to teachers, teaching, teacher preparation, and professional development. The objective of NRCE is to develop a national repository of resources freely accessible to all the subject teachers. The repository has successfully gathered resources of 10 subjects, as envisioned in the first phase of NRCE.

Hence, on completion of the first phase, the next step indeed is to introduce the resources to the prospective users of the resources, the young and aspiring faculty in our Higher education system in order to get engaged with the 10 subject’s teachers making them aware of the resources, supporting them in using the resources and more so to get their feedback on the same. With this objective in mind, the NRCE has planned ten subject-based webinars where more than 1000 early- and mid-career teachers will undergo capacity development in teaching and research.

I request you to join the Inaugural webinar of the ‘webinar series’ to be held on 10th December 2020 from 10 AM to 11.15 AM. The introductory webinar will be chaired by the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor of NIEPA, and shall give the opportunity to interact with Prof. Bhushan Patwardhan, Vice Chairman, UGC, and Mr. D.K.Sharma, Deputy Secretary (Policy), MoE. The webinar will give the platform to interact with various eminent dignitaries.
