Department holds its roots back to 2002 & it has emerged as an innovative center of high-quality research, fostering new ideas and shaping them to achieve fruitful results.

It's my pleasure to intimate you that Department of Biotechnology at IILM -CET, Greater Noida has been approved by AICTE Training And Learning (ATAL) Academy to conduct an online FDP in WASTE TECHNOLOGY area entitled as “Emerging Paradigms in Waste Management Technology”

The proposed FDP would be conducted on 25th to 29th January 2021 in an online mode on Microsoft team video meeting application and /or portal.  

Eligibility: Faculty from streams of Biotechnology Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Computer Engineering will be the target audience in this FDP. We are inviting distinguished national as well as global members from research, industry & academia to deliver their lectures covering various aspects of waste management technology with special emphasis on waste utilization and their mitigation strategies on this FDP forum.

Key themes of FDP: Challenges of Waste Management and Handling, Technological Advancement in Solid Waste Management: LCA Prospective, Biotechnological solution of Agricultural residues, Entrepreneurship opportunities in Waste Management, Waste to Sustainability Development: A Road Map

Registration is open at national scale via ATAL Academy portal only and is limited to 200 participants on a first cum first serve basis. The preference will be given to those applicants having attended less than TWO FDP of ATAL Academy till date. There is no registration cost for this FDP. The award of certificate for FDP is subject to 80% attendance in the 5-day long FDP program and min. of 60% marks in FDP quiz at the end of the final session. After successful completion, the certificate would be available to download from ATAL portal via participant login at ATAL academy portal.
