DESCRIPTION:

The purpose of this programme is to provide access to historical papers and records that tell the American storey, as well as editorial perspective. Applicants should show that they are familiar with the best practises advocated by the Association for Documentary Editing (ADE) or the Committee on Scholarly Editions of the Modern Language Association (MLA). Grants do not support the development of critical editions of published works unless they are only a tiny part of a broader project because of the concentration on historical documentation sources.
