DESCRIPTION:

 

The SPRS Block Grant Program aids State agencies in defraying the costs of preparing for, preventing exposure to, and responding to the COVID-19 pandemic for seafood processing facilities and processing boats.

State agencies will reimburse seafood processing facilities and vessels for costs incurred between January 27, 2020, when the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) declared a public health emergency under section 319 of the Public Health Service Act, and December 31, 2021.
