Guest Faculty (Department of Microbial Biotechnology) at Panjab University, Chandigarh: Walk-in-Interview on Dec 27

Applications are invited for Guest Faculty (Department of Microbial Biotechnology) at Panjab University, Chandigarh for the year 2021. The last date of application is 27 December.

Walk in interview for appointing One (1) Guest Faculty to teach Even Semesters of the academic year 2021-2022, for a period of (January 2022 to June 2022), will be held on, 27/12/2021 at 11:00 a.m. in the Office of the Chairperson, Department of Microbial Biotechnology, Panjab University, Chandigarh.

Eligibility

Essential Qualification: Master’s degree in Microbiology/ Biotechnology/Microbial Biotechnology or allied subject with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.

A relaxation of 5% shall be provided for the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Differently-abled/Other Backward Classes (OBC) (Non-creamy Layer)/ Ph.D. Degree holders, who have obtained their Master’s Degree prior to 19 September, 1991.

Desirable qualification: Ph.D. in Microbiology/Biotechnology or allied fields.

Application

All the applicants are advised to bring their original certificates and other relevant documents for verification along with the duly filled form giving the details at the time of interview. The application form for the post of Assistant Professor is available at website and the same is to be submitted in the office of the undersigned by 10:30 a.m. on the date of the interview along with photocopies of one set of attested certificates and other supporting documents.

Salary

The above assignment will be on lecture basis with a token honorarium of Rs. 1000/- per lecture with an upper limit of Rs. 25000/- per month.
