The government is investing $5.8 million in free online training from LinkedIn Learning to help 100,000 workers gain the skills they need to find good jobs and restart their careers.
Through this initiative, workers and students will have access to more than 16,000 courses. Topics include data analysis, cybersecurity, emotional intelligence, fundamental business skills, like building complex spreadsheets, and creative skills like learning web design code.
The free online training will be available until March 31, 2022, through LinkedIn, and employment career experts will coach each worker on which courses match their needs and personal career goals.
