Applications are invited for Research Associate (Life Sciences/Biotechnology) Under DBT Funded Project at ILS, Bhubaneswar for the year 2021. The last date of application is 31 December.

Institute of Life Sciences (ILS), Bhubaneswar, an autonomous institute of the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India invites applications from Indian Nationals to join in the following temporary and project-based position.

Project

DBT-BIRAC project “Translational Research Consortia TRC for Chikungunya Virus”.

Eligibility

Ph. D. in Life Sciences/Biotechnology or other allied subjects. Experience in animal handling, molecular virology, viral infection, mammalian cell culture, flow cytometric analysis, viral plaque assay and other cell biology techniques are required.

Candidates having first author publication in peer-reviewed journal in above subject areas will be given preference during screening stage. Candidates who have submitted Ph.D. thesis and are waiting for viva voce may also apply. For such candidates, fellowship amount will be that of an SRF until he/she defends Ph.D. thesis.

Incomplete applications and applications without the above-mentioned documents will be rejected.

Salary

Rs. 47,000/- + @16%HRA per month.
