Job description

Indian Institute of Management Bangalore invites applications for position of Academic Associate in the Production & Operations Management Area from qualified personnel. The Area is looking for persons with good academic credentials to provide teaching support to the faculty.

Academic Associates may also get an opportunity to assist Area faculty in ongoing research projects and get research exposure across a wide range of fields such as operations management, supply chain management, operations strategy, business process improvement, service operations management among others.

Eligibility

First class MBA or Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM), Bachelors in Engineering (with preference for a Masters in Industrial Engineering) or an equivalent degree from a reputed Institution.

Stipend

An all-inclusive monthly emoluments in the range of Rs.30,000 (Rupees Thirty Thousand only) to Rs.36,000 (Rupees Thirty-six Thousand only) per month plus an additional house rent allowance of Rs.8,000 (Rupees Eight Thousand) per month based on educational qualification and experience of the applicant Annual increment will be based on the performance.

Duration of the Assignment

Initially for a period of one year and extendable up to 03 years based on performance review. If the candidate registers for a Ph. D. programme in another institution within the 3 years a further extension of two years can be given, and additional one year if sufficient progress on the dissertation work is seen.
