Call for Senior Research Fellow (SRF)

Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the position of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) to work on Armament Research Board (ARMREB) sponsored project on Development of Non-destructive test methodologies to sense and quantify environmental and operational damage in the composite armour panels. It is a collaborative proposal between IIT Kanpur and IIT Ropar.

The candidate will have to work with IIT Kanpur, IIT Ropar and Terminal Ballistic Research Laboratory (TBRL) Chandigarh.

Post-1: Senior Research Fellow (SRF)
Position: 1.
Duration: The duration is initially for 1 year but can be extended up to 3 years based on the satisfactory performance of the candidate.

Emoluments: 35000 PM.
Essential Qualifications: Post Graduate degree (M.Tech/MSc or equivalent) in Electrical engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Materials Science or related discipline with GATE qualified and 2 yrs of relevant experience.

Desirable: As the project involves development of NDT techniques for composite materials, the applicants with prior experience in NDT, electrical property characterization of composites and related field will be given preference.

• Curriculum Vitae with complete qualification and experience details.
• Copy of GATE score.
• The shortlisted candidates shall be called for online interview. Please note that no TA/DA will be given to the candidates attending the interview.
