OVERVIEW OF FDP

Renewable energy generation and electric
vehicle (EV) technologies are the primary focus areas of study throughout the world in order to fulfil the rising electric energy demand and minimise pollution. In power conversion for EV technology, efficient power electronic converters and their control are critical. In addition, the
effects of novel materials used in EVs must be considered. The main goal of this FDP is to acquaint and train academician and researchers in these new fields.

OBJECTIVE OF FDP

➢ Understanding of complex designing of EVs,
➢ Knowledge on Onboard battery charger for EV,
➢ Application of Power electronics converters and design for EV, Electric Motor drives and EV Powertrain systems,
➢ Application of Renewable Energy sources in EVs
➢ Familiarization of challenges as the new opportunity for upcoming automotive
researchers

EXPECTED OUTCOMES

After attending the FDP, participants will be able

design and fabrication of charging
batteries and other electronic circuits
➢ Help in identification of research areas of
practical and industrial utility for UG/PG/PhD students.
