Data Analyst Job Description

They are looking for a Data Analyst to serve as the interface between the data consumers and the technical teams that will build and maintain the data models in Intel DS.

For this role, you should know how to analyze requirements coming from the Customer Projects business and translate them into Data Model design changes as well as the corresponding data sourcing strategy.

Main Roles and  Responsibilities of Data Analyst

• Data Discovery
• Identify and locate the data sources that best satisfy the requirements
• Data Documentation
• Analyze new data requirements and document the corresponding data model improvements so that they can be implemented by technical teams
• Design conceptual and logical data models and maintain related data flow maps, glossaries and rulebooks in Collibra
• Act as the data model design authority for changes affecting the Customer Project Domain
• Data Quality
• Design Data Quality Metrics and the corresponding action plans to improve it
• Improve system performance by conducting tests, troubleshooting, and integrating new elements

Qualifications

Must have:

• Experience gathering and analyzing data requirements
• Good knowledge of SAP systems and how data is organized inside SAP systems
• Basic hands-on experience with SQL

Nice to have:

• Good working knowledge of the Customer Projects business
• Working knowledge of data semantic
