TEACH FOR INDIA FELLOWSHIP
The Teach For India Fellowship gives India's brightest and most talented citizens, who attend the greatest institutions and businesses in the country, the chance to work as full-time teachers in some of the country's most under-resourced schools with children from underprivileged neighborhoods. Fellows of this fellowship learn about the fundamental realities of India's educational system through this experience of teaching in classrooms and collaborating with important education stakeholders such as students, principals, and parents. They also start to develop the knowledge, skills, and mindsets necessary to succeed in leadership positions in the field of education and recognize their place in creating a larger movement for educational equity in the nation.
The Teach For India Fellowship has a selectivity rate between 6 and 8.5 percent, making it a highly sought-after and competitive program. We choose the best applicants for the Fellowship through a three-stage procedure.

APPLICATION FORM AND ONLINE TESE, STAGE 1
They will review your application form depending upon various criteria like what drew you to take this fellowship, and how committed you are. You must pass a necessary, 25-minute online exam on English language proficiency after applying the application. You have 72 hours from the time you submit the application form to finish this. Only once you submit the exam will your application be deemed complete.
THE PHONE INTERVIEW, STAGE 2
Further questions for you after reviewing your application form and online exam results. If so, a 30-minute phone interview will be scheduled for you to attend. To get further details that will be useful for review, they will ask follow-up questions.
THE ASSESSMENT CENTRE, STAGE 3
If your application or phone interview goes well, they'll invite you to the assessment center, the last step in the hiring process. You will take part in several activities at the assessment center, including a possible five-minute lesson plan, a group activity with other candidates, and a brief problem-solving exercise. Additionally, you could get a one-hour personal interview invitation from a Teach For India community member.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- They seek leaders who will join their movement for educational justice in their Fellows. Along with enthusiasm and dedication to the cause, teach for India search for candidates who have the potential to become leaders after completing the two-year Fellowship.
- Fellows must be able to think critically, solve problems creatively, establish and reach lofty goals, and hold themselves and others to a high standard. Along with academic success, they must exhibit interpersonal skills in their dealings with other stakeholders.
- Teach for India fellowship seek out variety. Its Fellows are international, representing more than 300 colleges and businesses, and they have a wide range of backgrounds, skills, and professional experiences.
INCOME FROM TEACH FOR INDIA FELLOWSHIP
Teaching in India Fellows would get a monthly remuneration of Rs. 20,412. Fellows would get a housing stipend ranging from Rs. 5,300 to Rs. 10,000 if they are compelled to move away from their hometown.
