About Vahani Scholarship

Vahani Scholarship is a non-profit organization that recognizes the importance of opening doors for the exceptionally brilliant underprivileged children in India. Our mission is to send Indian students who come from extenuating circumstances to the top universities across India.

Vahani believes in a holistic approach to education, providing opportunities for internships, career counselling, English sessions and tailored workshops for skill-building, creativity and cultural awareness.

Eligibility

Income less than 2 lakh p.a
85% and Above in 10th & 11th
Current Class 12th Student.

Selection Process

Applications will be selected on the basis of academic excellence, consistency, quality of the application and economic hardship.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview with the guardian at the beginning of January. Selected candidates will be notified by the end of January.

Application starts: 1 September 2022
Application deadline: 1 November 2022
Review and shortlist of candidates by the Vahani expert committee: 1-20 December 2022
Personal interviews of shortlisted candidates & verification of documents: 1-7 January 2023
Final decisions released: 24-31 January 2023
