Students Get Ready To Win 5K Essay writing Competition By SLS Nagpur!

Symbiosis International (Deemed University), being home to novel and cooperative learning has laid down a legacy of success with its hard work and modesty from the years of its foundation.

This event aims to bring about awareness of mental health issues and reduce the stigma surrounding mental ailments. This competition is an opportunity to reflect upon our prejudices, health priorities, and the intersection of law and societal values.

the topic of the essay writing: Law, Society, and Mental Health: issues and challenges.
The Competition is open to all Undergraduates students, in any stream, enrolled in any recognized Institution/University in India.
participants are allowed to explore the following themes also: Mental health and psycho-social services in war-affected regions.
Analysis of National and international suicide prevention policies.
Mental health in children and adolescents
Effects of Covid-19 on mental health.
Intimate partner violence and mental health.
Economic, social, and cultural rights of persons with mental illness(Other themes are also allowed to explore).
The participants must submit an attested copy of their student’s Identity Card/bonafide certificate along with the essay.
The essay must be submitted in English language only and must be in Microsoft Word Format(.doc/.docx).
Only one submission per author is permitted. Co-authorship is allowed to a maximum of two authors per essay.
All entries should include a cover page specifying the name of the author, institutional affiliation, course and year of study, e-mail address, and contact number.
Any identifying information should not be mentioned anywhere in the text of the essay and violation of the same shall lead to immediate disqualification.
Plagiarism of any nature will attract immediate disqualification.
The suggested word limit for the article is 3500 words inclusive of citations.
Every essay must have a title and an abstract. (Abstract – 350 words, excluding the word count of the Essay)
The essay must not exceed 12% of Plagiarism.
The essay should be typed in Times New Roman, Font Size-12, Line Spacing-1.5, and justified.
The footnotes must be typed in Times New Roman, Font Size-10, and Line Spacing-1.
The margins should be 1 inch or 2.54 cm on all sides.
Every citation must follow the Harvard Bluebook, 20th Edition.
