The Indian higher education system is under increased scrutiny as the National Education Policy attempts to both make India more international and meet domestic demand for university education. Increasing student employability and optimising English levels for work and collaboration is at the centre of this, as institutions must grow and change to prepare their graduates for the fast-changing world of work.

This webinar, held in partnership between Times Higher Education and Cambridge University Press & Assessment, will bring together a panel of experts to share knowledge and discuss best practice about the following related strategic challenges:

• What skills gaps in India’s current higher education curricula are leaving graduate jobs unfilled
• How digital education and short courses can improve student employability
• Why increasing access is key to upskilling and reskilling, and how this can be done through digital education
• The benefits of making higher education in India more inclusive and equitable, particularly for students who must study remotely
• How to build stronger links with industry to ensure that students are graduating with the right employability skills
