About MyGov

MyGov is a citizen engagement platform launched by the Government of India on July 26, 2014, to promote the active participation of Indian citizens in their country’s governance and development. It is aimed at creating a common platform for Indian citizens to crowdsource governance ideas from citizens.

About the Opportunity

Ministry of Tourism under the India@75 campaign has launched “Yuva Tourism Clubs” which is focused towards building young minds. These Clubs, which would be “of the youth, by the youth, for the youth” would help in developing tourists from a young age itself.

Our Youth would be young ambassadors of Tourism. Experiences shared by the youth shall further encourage their friends and family to undertake travel. These young and energetic minds would provide unbiased feedback which would help us in improving ourselves and in meeting their expectations.

On the other hand, the Clubs would also help us to create awareness about tourism opportunities at an early stage. It would help to educate youth about the diverse cultural, heritage and natural geographies of the country, propagate responsible tourism practises, appreciate the importance of travel and tourism in education and would train students as skilled professionals in the hospitality/tourism sector.

Guidelines for the Submissions

• Theme: The reels must be related to the summer vacation experiences of the participants.
• Medium: The reels can be created in the video.
• Length: The reels must be no longer than 60 seconds.
• Submission: The reels must be submitted as a video file (.mp4 or .mov).
• The Reels video must be tagged with #YuvaTourismClubs, #YTCReelCompetition and #YTC.
• Deadline: The deadline for submission is August 20, 2023.

Terms and Conditions

• Ministry of Tourism will have the sole right/proprietorship for the usage of the winning content.
• The participant will be required to provide his/her name, email address, telephone number, postal address and Yuva Tourism Club details like school, class, district, state etc. By submitting the contact details, the participants will give consent to these details being used for the purpose of the competition.
• Once submitted an entry cannot be withdrawn.
• One entrant can participate only once. Multiple entries from the same entrant will not be considered and will be discarded.
• Organisers will not accept any responsibility for entries that are lost, are late or incomplete or have not been transmitted due to computer error or any other error beyond the organizer’s reasonable control. Please note proof of submission of the entry is not proof of receipt of the same.
• In the event of unforeseen circumstances, organizers reserve the right to amend or withdraw the competitions at any time. For the avoidance of doubt, this includes the right to amend these terms and conditions.
• The Participant shall abide by all the rules and regulations of participating in the competition from time to time.
• Organisers reserve all rights to disqualify or refuse participation in any participant registrations shall be void if the information received by the Organizers is illegible, incomplete, damaged, false or erroneous.
• These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Indian Judiciary.
• By participating in the competition, the participant accepts and agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, mentioned above.
