Dress Up Your Kids as Janjatiya Nayak Birsa Munda by Ministry of Tribal Affairs & MyGov, India: Submit by Nov 30

The Ministry of Tribal Affairs, India in collaboration with MyGov, India is organizing an online Best Costume Competition i.e. Dress Up Your Kids as Janjatiya Nayak Birsa Munda till November 30, 2023.

About the Ministry of Tribal Affairs

The Ministry of Tribal Affairs (MOTA) is an Indian Government ministry charged with the overall development of Scheduled Tribe communities of India by providing them with education, scholarships, and grants to create more health infrastructure in tribal communities, preservation of Tribal Culture & languages and direct cash transfer schemes to economically backward tribal families.

About MyGov

MyGov is a citizen engagement platform launched by the Government of India on July 26, 2014, to promote the active participation of Indian citizens in their country’s governance and development.

About the Competition

Citizens are invited to participate in Dress Up Your Kids as Birsa Munda, an online ‘Best Costume’ Competition on the theme of ‘Unsung Tribal Heroes’ is being conducted by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, in coordination with MyGov as a part of the JanJatiya Gaurav Divas 2022 celebrations.

Eligibility Criteria

Children in the age group of 2 to 10 years can participate in this fancy dress competition.

Prizes

To broadcast this festival of India among children, youth, and masses, three prizes will be distributed to the winners, i.e., First, Second, and Third Prizes.

How to Register?

This Competition series requires children to dress up as Birsa Munda and upload a photo on the MyGov platform.

Submission Deadline

The competition will close on November 30, 2023.

Submission Guidelines

  • The maximum size of the photograph should not be more than 4 MB.
  • The photo should be in HD quality (JPG or JPEG format) only.
