The Ministry of Education (MoE) Institution’s Innovation Council is organizing the National Milk Day Awareness Competition and is seeking registrations for the same by December 4, 2023.

About the Organizer

Ministry of Education, Govt. of India has established an ‘Innovation cell’ with the purpose of systematically fostering the culture of Innovation in all Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) across the country.

About the Competition

National Milk Day is celebrated on November 26th each year to raise awareness of the importance of milk in our diets. Milk is a nutrient-rich beverage that provides essential nutrients for good health, including calcium, vitamin D, protein, and riboflavin.

This year, the Innovation Council is hosting a National Milk Day Awareness Competition to encourage students and young adults to learn more about the benefits of milk and to develop innovative ways to promote milk consumption.

Eligibility Criteria

The competition is open to students and young adults aged 13-25.

Categories

Participants can submit entries in the following categories:

• Essays: Write an essay on the importance of milk in our diets.
• Videos: Create a short video about the benefits of milk.
• Social Media Posts: Create a social media post that promotes milk consumption.

Prizes

Winners will be selected from each category (essays, video, social media posts) and awarded the following prizes:

• The top 5 entries shall receive the certificate of appreciation common for both Faculty/Students.
• A certificate of participation shall be issued to all the participants on successful submission.
• All winners and finalists will receive recognition on the website and social media channels. They may also be featured in future publications or promotional materials.
