Udaan Youth Club is now inviting applications to join its global Advisory Body. As a member, you'll help shape and enhance our initiatives with innovative ideas and suggestions. We welcome individuals from all backgrounds who are committed to making a meaningful voluntary contribution. This is an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact while gaining valuable experience.

About the Organization

Udaan Youth Club (UYC) is a voluntary, self-organized group of rural Indian youth leveraging the power of Information and Communication Technology to educate people about social issues. We are dedicated to contributing towards the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047 and the Sustainable Development Goals on a larger scale. At Udaan, we believe that everyone is a changemaker, and our shared vision is to create a better world for all, in harmony with nature. Indian social worker Aman Kumar is the president of Udaan Youth Club.

About the Advisory Body

Joining the Advisory Body is a voluntary and virtual role. The Advisory Body will be active from September 2024 to March 2025. Members will contribute ideas and suggestions to shape Udaan Youth Club's programs, assist in preparing the monthly action plan, and have the opportunity to receive mentorship from Udaan officials for their own social initiatives using ICT tools.

Eligibility

• Dedicate at least 4 hours a week to the Advisory Body.
• Experience in managing, working with, or advising youth organizations is preferred but not mandatory.
• Access to the internet and the ability to participate in virtual meetings and activities.
• Strong commitment to voluntary work.
• Proficiency in English.

How to Register?

Interested applicants should apply by filling out the application form at application link. Provide your understanding of Udaan Youth Club, your definition of "A Better World," and reasons for joining the Advisory Body. Include any relevant experience, skills, and ICT tool experience.

Optional but recommended: Mention the Udaan Youth Club initiative you find most interesting, provide a letter of recommendation, and describe any ideas for social initiatives with UYC mentorship.

• Open Call: 1st August 2024
• Application Deadline: 5th September 2024
• Advisory Body Start: 10th September 2024
• Advisory Body End: 31st March 2025
