The Ashoka Trust for Research in Ecology and the Environment (ATREE) invites applications for multiple positions under Project AMP-Himalaya, a five-year initiative focused on conserving biodiversity, restoring landscapes, and enhancing human well-being in the Indian Himalayan Region (IHR). This project prioritizes biodiversity assessment, landscape restoration, nature-based rural livelihoods, and climate resilience.

ATREE (Ashoka Trust for Research in Ecology and the Environment) is a non-profit organization dedicated to interdisciplinary research, environmental conservation, and sustainable development. About the Opportunity

Project AMP-Himalaya is a strategic initiative targeting biodiversity conservation and livelihood enhancement in three key landscapes of the Indian Himalayan Region:

• Khangchendzonga Landscape: Covering Darjeeling hills and Sikkim
• Trans-Himalayan Landscape: Located in Ladakh with agro-pastoral systems and rangelands
• Arunachal Pradesh: Renowned for its dense forests, biodiversity, and cultural diversity

ATREE is seeking qualified professionals for the following roles:

• Senior Project Manager

• Policy Analyst
• Policy Specialist
• Finance Officer
