About the Examination
Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2025
- Total Vacancies: 979 (including reserved posts for PwBD candidates)
- Posts: IAS, IPS, IFS, and other Group A & B services.
Eligibility:
- Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
- Final-year students may apply but must present final results before the Main Examination.
Age Limit: 21–32 years as of 1 August 2025 (Relaxations for reserved categories).
Exam Pattern:
- Preliminary: Objective type (General Studies I & II – CSAT)
- Main: Nine descriptive papers, including essay, general studies, and optional subjects
- Interview: Personality Test
Physical Standards: As per service-specific requirements
Indian Forest Service Examination (IFoS) 2025
- Total Vacancies: Approximately 150 (including reserved posts for PwBD candidates)
- Posts: Positions in the Indian Forest Service
Eligibility:
- Bachelor’s degree in Forestry, Agriculture, Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, Zoology, or Engineering
- Final-year students may apply, subject to proof of qualifications during the Main Examination
Age Limit: 21–32 years as of 1 August 2025 (Relaxations for reserved categories)
Exam Pattern:
- Preliminary: Common with CSE (General Studies I & II)
- Main: Six descriptive papers (General English, General Knowledge, and optional subjects)
- Interview: Personality Test
Physical Standards: As prescribed in Appendix-III of the IFoS rules

- Correction Window: 12–18 February 2025
