Scope

Now days, the interest of the researchers is growing in the domain of Big Data and Analytics, as a huge volume of data is generated both from the internal and external sources. The integration Internet of Things (IoT) are benefitting a variety of domains. IoTs connected through fast communication networks aids to
achieve faster data transfer, low latency, and optimal usage of the bandwidth and
integration of different network technologies. Cloud computing aids digital transformation providing flexible, cost-effective, secure and collaborative solutions to administer huge volume of data gathered from the various sources. It uses remote servers to store, process and analyze this voluminous data.

The fog/edge computing stretches the cloud to be closer to the items that create IoT data and function on it. Extending the cloud closer to the things that generate and act on data benefits the business in i) Greater business agility, ii) Improved security, iii) Deeper insights, with privacy control, and iv) Lower operational costs. Analyzing IoT data close to where it is collected minimizes latency. It offloads gigabytes of network traffic from the core network and it keeps sensitive data inside the network.

Topics of Interest
