Applications are invited for JRF (Electronics & Communication) Under SERB Funded Project at JNU, New Delhi for the year 2022. The last date of application is 15 February.

Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow in a Science & Engineering Research Board (SERB) funded project entitled “Design and development of Novel High Gain Linearly/Circularly Polarized Wideband Antennas using Metasurface/Metamaterial for Wireless Communication”, under the supervision of Dr.Ashwani Kumar, School of Engineering, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi.

Eligibility

Essential Qualification: The applicant must have M.E/M Tech. in Electronics & Communication/M.Sc. Electronics or equivalent with CGPA above 7.0 (on 10.0 scale) or percentage greater than 70% aggregate. This is a minimum qualification for application. The shortlisting will be done based on the applicant’s grades in M. Tech, B. Tech or equivalent degrees & their experience in relevant areas. Candidates having knowledge or experience of RF design tools (HFSS, CST, ADS etc.) are encouraged to apply.

Fellowship/Salary

As per SERB norms, fellowship is ₹31,000/- p.m. plus HRA as permissible.

Duration

2 Years. The selected candidate will be initially appointed on a purely temporary basis for one year and renewable for the second year, subject to satisfactory performance in the first year duration of
the project.

Interested candidates may apply by filling online Google Form and upload their complete application in the given format along with a cover letter and self-attested copies of the certificates (proof of age, certificates, degrees, marks sheets) and proof of research experience (if any) in a single PDF file on the Google form link (https://forms.gle/z2Jo3UJpJzXxkfJL9).

The applications and supporting documents should also be submitted via e mail at ashwanikumar[at]mail.jnu.ac.in latest by February 15, 2022.

The e-mail subject line should read as “Application for the Post of JRF in SERB Project”. The candidate needs to fill the online Google Form. ONLY a soft copy of the application in the given format (only one consolidated PDF file containing a cover letter, application, and all the supporting documents) via e mail (ashwanikumar[at]mail.jnu.ac.in) will be accepted.
