Details are as follows:
The Liberty, Innovation and Technology Policython 2022 is a policy-based hackathon designed to hone your policy drafting skills and spark discussions leading to potential policy solutions in the emerging arena of Tech Liberty.
First edition of the Liberty, Innovation and Technology (LIT) Policython was conducted in January 2021. It included a series of pre-events like policy workshops, Samvads, and webinars over the course of three months on select themes under our global campaign on TechLiberty, which helped prepare participants for the final, competitive event.
LIT Policython 2021 was the first of its kind, e-policython in India which successfully engaged over 200 participants and experts from diverse fields such as Engineering, Law, Management & Social Sciences, who together formulated policies in response to given problem statements within 48 hours.
In the footsteps of our first edition, LIT Policython 2022 will challenge participants with crucial and engrossing themes. Participants will be expected to come up with creative policy-based solutions for the given problem statements within a specified timeline. This year’s edition will be conducted in a hybrid mode, where after a virtual round, the selected best teams will be invited to attend the finale in person.
The first Samvaad of the LIT pre-event series will focus on the burning topic of cryptocurrency and we will try to answer the question “which has been more innovative on the issue of cryptocurrency: the private sector or the public sector?” The relevant reading material will be sent to you after your registration and we are very excited to meet you on 12th January 2021 at 5:00 pm IST (11:30UTC).
