PhD Fellowships Nature-culture Transitions in Arunachal Pradesh: Apply by Jan 9

About the Fellowship

NCF, in partnership with Rajiv Gandhi University (RGU), invites applications for three fully funded PhD fellowships for interdisciplinary research on nature-culture relations in Arunachal Pradesh.

These positions are open only to scholars from Arunachal Pradesh

We welcome candidates with Master’s degree in any relevant discipline with proven interest and experience in wildlife ecology, cultural/tribal studies, or anthropology.

Existing RGU PhD scholars in Zoology and Anthropology are encouraged to apply.

Eligibility

• Minimum of 55% marks in aggregate or equivalent at the master’s level.
• Keen interest in ethno-cultural and natural heritage of Arunachal Pradesh, and ability to live in remote rural locations for long durations.
• Prior experience with ecological methods and/or ethnographic research preferred
