Applications are invited for Research Associate & Multi-Tasking Staff at IIT(BHU) Varanasi for the year 2022. The last date of application is 14 February.

Applications are invited on plain paper along with complete Bio-data, self-attested copies of all mark sheets and certificates for the post of Research Associate II and Multi-Tasking staff in ICMR supported projects entitled

• Validation of glutathione synthetase from Leishmania donovani as new drug target for discovery of new drug candidate?
• Human IL-2 fused leishmanial trypanothione synthetase (TS) as protein vaccine candidates

Research Associate

• Eligibility: PhD in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Bioengineering or related areas with two years of
  research experience. The candidate should have strong background in Molecular Biology and Immunology with exposure to protein Chemistry.
• Salary/Fellowship: 49,000/- + HRA as per the Institute norms
• Desirable: The applicant should have good academic background. He/She should be able to work independently, can write project report and research publication(s) and provide support to other members of the group.
• Age Limit: 35 Years relaxable for 5 years for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped/Female candidates. All things being equal, SC/ST candidates will be preferred as per GOI rules.

Multi-Tasking staff (02 Nos. )

• Eligibility: High School or Equivalent
• Salary/Fellowship: 15,800/- (consolidated)
• Desirable: 1st Division in high School or Equivalent. Should be able to manage official paper records, cleaning of laboratory, field data collection or any other work assigned work
• Age Limit: 25 Years relaxable for 5 years for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped/Female candidates. All things being equal, SC/ST candidates will be preferred as per GOI rules.
