Position Overview

Software Engineering (Java)

Experience:2-12 years

Role Description

They are looking for Software Engineer to work on groundbreaking multichannel SaaS Digital Marketing Platform that focuses on uniquely identify the customer’s patterns, effectively interact with them across channels and achieve a positive return on marketing investment (ROMI).

The platform helps consolidate and integrates the features and functionality typically found in stand-alone services and channel-specific messaging platforms to give marketers a tightly integrated, easily orchestrated, insights-driven, cross channel marketing capability.

Primary role of the Software Engineer is to envision and build internet scale services on Cloud using Java and Big Data stack in product teams with complete hands on.

Drive long-term product visions with key technology and architecture decisions alongside DevOps evolution having both functional and non-functional requirements satisfied. Need to have passion for writing good and scalable code / groom/ upskills technical teams by working closely with Architects, Engineering Managers, Leads and Developers.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the definition, development, and documentation of software’s objectives, business requirements, deliverables, and specifications in collaboration with internal users and departments
  • Collaborate with developers, product manager, business analysts and business users in conceptualizing, estimating, and developing new software applications and enhancements
  • Collaborate with QA team to define test cases, metrics, and resolve questions about test results
  • Contribute to the design and implementation process for new products, research and create POC for possible solutions
  • Automation of deployment, customization, upgrades, and monitoring through DevOps tools meant for Cloud management.
  • Performance tuning, monitoring, maintaining fault tolerant/HA infrastructure along with Disaster recovery design, implementation, and maintenance.
  • Work with cross-functional teams during crisis to address and resolve complex incidents and problems in addition to assessment, analysis, and resolution of cross-functional issues
  • Responsible for development and maintenance of product with technologies involving Enterprise Java and Distributed technologies on Cloud, DevOps Continuous Delivery pipeline.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline with 2-12+ years’ experience and hands-on development.
  • Solid Experience in the following technologies: –
    • Core Java and Enterprise Java Technologies (J2EE technologies (Servlets, Java scripts, JPA and Web/UI technologies, Angular, CSS/HTML)), Micro services
    • Cloud: Knowledge of AWS Cloud Infrastructure.
    • Spring IO, Spring MVC, Spring Hibernate, Spring Boot, web architectural and design patterns
    • Continuous Integration: Jenkins, GoCD, Nexus etc.
    • Code Security: Veracode, SonarQube etc.
    • Source Control: GIT, Bitbucket
    • Build: Maven/ Gradle
    • Scripting/Language: Shell Scripting, Java
  • Experience with profiling, code coverage, logging, common IDE’s and other development tools.
  • Good understanding of Agile Methodologies – SCRUM and Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Good understanding of software security practices including user authentication and authorization, data validation
  • Ability to suggest usage design patterns and algorithms while following the best practices of software development

Preferred Qualifications

  • Technical
    • AWS Solution Architect, Java Certifications, or others.
    • Expertise in ETL/ELT tooling such as Nifi, Integration Services, Informatica, Data Pipeline, Glue, Camunda BPMN or similar frameworks.
    • Knowledge in Hive/Logstash/Elastic search/Spark /Batch Analytics processing
    • Working experience in AWS Cloud Infrastructure
    • Good knowledge in any one of Big Data Ecosystems: Hadoop/Spark/ Kafka/ HBASE
    • Good knowledge of relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL) or NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB)
    • Good knowledge in Configuration & Automation: Ansible, Hashicorp Terraform etc.
  • Non-Technical
    • Functional knowledge of CRM, Marketing, Loyalty

Software Engineering (.NET Angular)

Experience:2-12 years

Duties and responsibilities

  • Defines site objectives by analyzing user requirements; envisioning system features and functionality.
  • Designs and develops user interfaces to internet/intranet applications by setting expectations and features priorities throughout development life cycle; determining design methodologies and tool sets; completing programming using languages and software products; designing and conducting tests.
  • Recommends system solutions by comparing advantages and disadvantages of custom development and purchase alternatives.
  • Integrates applications by designing database architecture and server scripting, studying and establishing connectivity with network systems, search engines, and information servers.
  • Creates multimedia applications by using authoring tools.
  • Completes applications development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities; contributing to team meetings; troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms.
  • Supports users by developing documentation and assistance tools.
  • Updates job knowledge by researching new internet/intranet technologies and software products; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications

  • Excellent skills in following Microsoft Technologies
    • C# (4.0)
    • ASP.NET MVC ( 5.0)
    • .NET Framework + .NET Core
    • WebAPI (2.0)
  • Must be very strong in UI framework (Angular) 
  • Hands-on development experience using JavaScript, HTML5, CSS 3, AJAX, JSON, Bootstrap, Node.js.
  • Hands-on experience in writing SQL queries (Oracle).
  • Knowledge of AWS or Azure
  • Good knowledge of design principles and design patterns
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills 
  • Exposure to source control (e.g TFS and GIT)
  • Good with Application Security concepts (Secure Coding Practices, Authentication, Authorization)
  • Good with writing Code level Unit Tests and mocking (Moq)

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with responsive and/or adaptive design 
  • Strong time management skills
