About the India Global Leaders Scholarship

The India Global Leaders Scholarship is an exciting opportunity for high achieving students from India to further their studies in UQ’s Faculty of Business, Economics and Law.  

Challenge yourself academically and develop the skills to thrive in constantly changing and competitive business environments. 

You will join a prestigious UQ Global Leaders community of high achievers throughout their studies, whilst developing your employability and leadership skills through priority access to exciting opportunities on offer through the Faculty of Business, Economics and Law.

You will also receive exclusive invitations to selected ‘invite only’ seminars and events throughout your studies. Upon graduation, you will join a global network of outstanding Global Leaders scholarship alumni, and build upon your professional networks at home and abroad. 

Eligibility of India Global Leaders Scholarship 2022

You’re eligible if you:

• are a citizen of India, and normally live in India
• have received a letter of offer to study a business, economics or law program with us, except for the 3 listed below:
  • Master of Business Administration 
  • Master of Business Analytics
  • Master of Leadership in Service Innovation.

You’re not eligible if you:

• are already enrolled at UQ or studying at UQ on study abroad or exchange
• are already studying a diploma, certificate, Foundation Studies or degree program in Australia, other than an English language course (if you are learning English in Australia to prepare for study or to sit an English language test, you are eligible to apply)
• are already holding another scholarship for tuition fees.

• your academic record and achievements
• your personal and career goals.

Scholarship Value

50% of tuition fee only

How to Apply?

Apply using the online application form. The form will take at least 20 minutes to complete and allows you to apply for other scholarships at the same time. You can save your progress and resume your application at any time.

You’ll need: 

• your resume
• a personal statement about why you wish to study this program at UQ, your career and personal goals, and what you’ve done in the past that shows your commitment to these goals
• a reference letter in English, from a teacher at your institution or from an employer, that ranks your academic performance against your peer group.
