JOB POST: Graphic Designer at IIMC, New Delhi: Apply by May 9

 Applications are invited for Graphic Designer at IIMC, New Delhi for the year 2022. The last date of application is 9 May.

IIMC which is an Autonomous Society under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Govt. of India proposes to fill up one position of Graphic Designer in the Publications Department on Contract Basis. The relevant details are as under:

Eligibility

Essential Qualification: Graduate with good working knowledge of Graphics Designing.

Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience in Layout and Graphic Designing. Excellent knowledge of Adobe Indesign, Photoshop CorelDraw, Illustrator, Quark Express, Pagemaker, typography and printing processes.

Desirable:

• Diploma/Certificate in Graphic Designing and Desktop Publishing.
• Experience of working in reputed Government/private publishing house having direct working knowledge in graphic designing and desktop publishing.

Age: Not more than 50 years (as on date of advertisement).

Duties and Responsibilities

To assist HoD-Publications in designing of art works, illustrations, drawings, advertorials and other publicity material including designing for books, research journals, magazines, brochures, folders, posters, banners, cover design, creative infographics, etc.

Remuneration

Rs.35, 000/- per month (consolidated)

Duration of Engagement

Initially for a period of 6 months. Further continuation of the selected candidate will be subject to satisfactory performance and requirement of the Institute.
