Junior Research Fellow under DRDO Project at Tezpur University, Assam: Apply by May 2

 Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Tezpur University, Assam via an online Interview to be held on May 4, 2022.

Project Title

DRDO sponsored research project entitled “Use of Thermal Autofrettage for Defence Application” under the Principal Investigator Dr. Seikh Mustafa Kamal, Assistant Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Tezpur University.

Minimum Qualification/Area of Specialization/Experience

• First-class in B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical / Production / Aerospace Engineering and M.E./M.Tech. in Mechanical / Production / Aerospace Engineering with specialization of Machine Design or Manufacturing or Production Engineering. GATE qualification is desirable.

OR

• B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical / Aerospace / Production Engineering with minimum 75% marks with valid GATE score.

Candidates with sound experimental knowledge and good command on the numerical tools such as ABQUS/ANSYS, MATLAB etc. is preferable.

Age Limit

Candidate shall not be more than 28 years of age on the date of interview. Upper age limit may be relaxed as per Government of India rules.

Fellowship

Rs. 31,000/- (Rupees Thirty-One Thousand) only plus HRA as admissible per month for the 1st and 2nd year and Rs. 35,000/- (Rupees thirty five thousand only) plus HRA as admissible per month for the 3rd year as per rules.

Duration

Initially for a period of one (01) year which may be extended further depending upon satisfactory performance of the incumbent and co-terminus with the project or until further order, whichever is earlier.
