Job Description

The Programme Associate will coordinate programs, events and other core outreach activities of IIMUIC, including strategizing and execution of various programs for start-ups. She/he will join our team in supporting the next generation of entrepreneurs through our Startup programmes.

Eligibility

Masters/Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business Admin, Finance, Economics, Science, Engineering, or related field with 2 years of work experience.

• Excellent interpersonal and networking skills with an ability to develop and maintain effective business relationships
• Program/project management experience is a plus especially if it is in the Startup sector
• Work experience with an Incubator/VC firm will be a plus

Responsibilities

• Support the management in designing and implementing high quality startup support programmes in line with the centre’s mandate
• Conduct industry/sector research to identify opportunities, partners, and industry experts for our programmes
• Ensure alignment between the different stakeholders of our startup support programmes including startups, industry experts and facilitators through clear and consistent communication
• Sourcing, application evaluation, due diligence and selection committee briefing to aid selection of startups into our programmes
• Manage applications to our different programmes, as well as communication with applicants
• Manage logistics for our programmes/meetups
• Perform such other duties as required and appropriate to the objectives of this position and the needs of the organization.

Duration

Initial contract will be for a period of 2 years.

Salary

Consolidated monthly payment in the range of INR 30,000/- to 35,000/- shall be paid for a contractual term of two years subject to prior experience and qualification. A higher compensation shall be considered and may be offered to deserving candidates.
