Project Associate at IIIT Allahabad [2 Positions]: Apply by May 23

 Applications are invited for Project Associate at IIIT Allahabad for the year 2022. The last date of application is 23 May.

Interested and eligible candidates are requested to apply for the posts of Project Associate -1 in the project entitled BIC-IIITA: “To create a state-of-art facility for big data analytics of large scale genomics and proteomics data – BIC at Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad” at the Indian Institute of Information Technology-Allahabad, Deoghat, Jhalwa, Prayagraj-211015, U. P. India.

Eligibility

Essential:

M.Sc in Life Science / Biotechnology/ Computer Science/ MVSc or equivalent. OR Bachelor Degree in Medicine OR B. Tech in Engineering and Technology.

Desirable:

• Candidate should have demonstrable programming skills in scripting language(s) such as Perl/ Python/ R.
• Candidate with working experience in NoSQL/ Hadoop/ Spark and Scala will be preferred.

The upper age limit is 35 as on the date of interview. The age limit may be relaxed as per Government of India rules and regulations).

Duration

Initially up to one year, this may be extended for further period(s) up to 5 years based on the satisfactory performance of individual and availability of funding.
