About the Challenge
They are looking at hiring full-stack developers primarily with Java and python backgrounds – to join our workforce and be part of India-level success story for the bank.

Please note: Over and above Fixed pay candidates are entitled to the following additional benefits:

After the online coding challenge,
- A shortlist will be prepared based on relative performance against set benchmark
- shortlisted candidates will be contacted for a set of required documents as a prerequisite
- Post gathering the documents – The interview date will be agreed with the candidates.
- We will also agree mode of interview: Which could be in person at either of our Bangalore or Pune offices or virtually, depending on the candidate choice.
- For virtual mode – video call will be mandated.
- As part of the interview process, the candidate will go through 2 technical interviews, 1 Professional fitment interview and 1 HR interview.
- Each of the interviews will be elimination round.
Tech Stack:
- Good hands-on exposure on Java 8+, Micro Services using Spring Boot, Camel, OR Python
- Exposure on the essential front-end web development languages i.e., HTML, CSS, JavaScript & TypeScript.
- Good understanding on microservices concepts like CQRS, API composition, Event Sourcing & API management
- Hands-on exposure to test-driven development (TDD) OR behavior-driven development (BDD) using Cucumber/Gherkin/ etc
- Working knowledge about the CI (Continuous Integration) tools like Jenkins or TeamCity
- Good knowledge of Bitbucket and Git is must.
- Good hands-on exposure on at least one UI (User Interface) framework e.g., Angular / ReactJS is a strong plus
- Knowledge of Kafka, Spark, and Hadoop is also a strong plus.
- Excellent visual, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a feeling of pride and ownership over the quality of work.
Position Overview
Role Description:
The Technology Development includes creating new as well as migrating legacy Web/Monolith interfaces utilizing the latest technologies and user experience methodologies.
The role will involve product design, development and delivery of both applications/micro-services and underlying UI frameworks.
The team will play an integral part of the overall application development and thus interact with product management, business users and business analysts to provide innovative products that make our users both productive and excited about using our services.

Your key responsibilities
- Be ready to work on a range of technologies and components, including user interfaces, services, and databases.
- Write code and write it well. Be proud to call yourself a programmer. Use test driven development, write clean code and refactor constantly. Make sure we are building the thing right and following SOLID Design principle
- Define and evolve the architecture of the components you are working on and contribute to architectural decisions at a department and bank-wide level.
- Ensure that the software you deliver is reliable and easy to support in production. Be prepared to take your turn on call providing 3rd line support when it’s needed
- Help your team to build, test and release software within short lead times and with minimum of waste. Work to develop and maintain a highly automated Continuous Delivery pipeline using Jenkins/TeamCity
- Experience in development of projects using micro-services written using Spring Boot, Camel
- Help create a culture of learning and continuous improvement within your team and beyond
- Develop and maintain code quality standards and best practices.
- Enforce standards through regular code reviews.
- Write and maintain internal tools to help increase developer efficiency and effectiveness.
- Experience debugging code
- Hands-on Experience in GCP and technologies like Docker, Containers, Kubernetes etc is a plus.
- Hands-on Experience in Big Data technologies like Spark, Hadoop, Hive, HBase is a plus.
- Knowledge of messaging platform like Kafka, etc. is a plus.
Your skills and experience
- Minimum of 0.5-5 years of experience in Full Stack Development.
