JRF & SRF Under ICMR Funded Project at JNU, New Delhi [2 Positions]: Apply by May 25

 Applications are invited for JRF & SRF Under ICMR Funded Project at JNU, New Delhi for the year 2022. The last date of application is 25 March.

Project Title

“Evolutionary Genome Complexity of SARS-COV-2 Virus and search for therapeutic Translational Medicine” .

Eligibility

Qualifications & Experience for JRF: Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science OR Graduate /Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course selected through a process described through anyone of the following:

  • Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professor) and GATE.
  • The selection process through National level examination conducted by Central Government Department and by their agencies such as DBT, DST, DAE, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR & ICMR etc.

Desirable: Ph.D./M. Tech./M.Sc./B.Tech. Bioinformatics/Systems Biology/Computational Biology/Computer Science and allied sciences /Mathematical modeling and simulation

Qualifications & Experience for SRF: Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science OR Graduate /Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course selected through a process described through anyone of the following:

  • Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professor) and GATE.
  • The selection process through National level examination conducted by Central Government Department and by their agencies such as DBT, DST, DAE, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR & ICMR etc.
  • Two years of research experience

Desirable: Ph.D./M. Tech./M.Sc./B.Tech. in Bioinformatics/Systems Biology/Computational Biology/ Computer Science and allied sciences /Mathematical modeling and simulation + 2 years of research experience after Master’s Degree in relevant areas.

Salary

Rs. 31,000/month +HRA (JRF) & Rs. 35000/month + HRA (SRF), As per DHR rules and guidelines.
