Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the post of Project Fellow to work In the Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA2.0) sponsored thematic research project “Component10: Research, Innovation and Quality Improvement”–Biological Sciences under the supervision of Dr. A. Antony Joseph Velanganni, Department of Biochemistry, Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli -620024.

Title of the Project

Identification, characterization and functional analysis of immunomodulatory miRNAs in cancer

Area of Work

Genetics and epigenetics of cancer/biomarkers of cancer

Duration

1 Year

Essential Qualifications

M.Sc./ M.Phil (Biochemistry/Lifescience/Microbiology/Biotechnology) with minimum of 60% marks/ CGPA 6.1 and above

Desired Qualifications

Practical Knowledge in Animal/human cell culture and molecular biology techniques

Age Limit

Upper age limit: 28 years (Relaxation:5years for SC/ ST)

Fellowship Amount

Rs.14,000/-pm (consolidated)

• The appointment is purely temporary and will terminate automatically without any notice or compensation on termination of the research project.
• The appointed person shall have no claim of appointment/absorption in Funding Agency.
• No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the interview.
