About NIT, Raipur 

National Institute of Technology, Raipur (NIT Raipur or NITRR) is a civic technical and research university located in Raipur, India. It was Founded in 1956 with two engineering courses, the university focuses wholly on science, technology, engineering, and architecture. It is familiar as an Institute of National Importance and funded by the Government of India under the National Institutes of Technology Act, 2007. and is one of the oldest institutions of the National Institutes of Technology (NITs) system.

About Vacancy

• JRF post is vacant in biomedical engineering department

• The title of the research project is “Enhancing Brain Cognition through Neuro-Feedback model in Indian Children with Learning Disability” certified by SERB India under Core-research grant scheme”.

• Monthly salary would be 31k+ HRA 

• Maximum duration is 3 years 

Eligibility criteria

• Post Graduate Degree in Electronics, Electronics and Telecommunication, Biomedical Engineering, Bioengineering, Medical Electronics, Biomedical Instrumentation, Signal Processing and associated fields selected through a process defined through any one of the given below:

 Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests - CSIR-UGC NET           including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.

The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, lISc, llSER etc.

• Acquaintance of basic programming skills in Python/MATLAB®//C, C++.

• Understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms.

Terms and conditions

• No TA/DA can sit for interview

• The initial appointment will be for 3 months, but the candidate may be removed any time with one-month prior notice if work not found satisfactory

• The post is temporary and the continuation of research will be checked after every 3 months progress and availability of funds.

• The appointment shall be co-terminus with the project and will be administered as per the Terms and Conditions of funding agency SERB, India and Rules, Regulations and Norms of NIT Raipur.
