 India Post is inviting submissions for its Dhai Ahkhar National Level Letter Writing Competition 2022-23 on “Vision for India 2047”.

India Post is a government-operated postal system in India, part of the Department of Post under the Ministry of Communications. Generally known as the Post Office, it is the most widely distributed postal system in the world.

About Dhai Akhar Letter Writing Competition

Department of Posts is organizing the Dhai Akhar Letter Writing Campaign at the National Level on the theme “Vision for India 2047” under the “Vision 2047” of the Government of India for this year i.e. 2022-23. Desirous persons may participate in this campaign.

The details of the Dhai Akhar Letter Writing Campaign 2022-23 are as under.

• A National Level Letter Writing Competition “Dhai Akhar” will be conducted from 01.07.2022 to 31.10.2022.
• Topic for the letter writing of Dhai Akhar 2022-23 will be “Vision for India 2047” under the “Vision 2047” the vision plan underway by the Government of India.

Category

The category for National Level Dhai Akhar Letter Writing Campaign are as follows:

Up to 18 years:

• Inland Letter Card Category
• Envelope Category

Above 18 years:

• Inland Letter Card Category
• Envelope Category

Prizes

Circle Level Category

• First prize in each category (4): Rs. 25,000/-
• Second prize in each category (4): Rs.10,000/-
• Third prize in each category (4): Rs. 5,000/-

National Level Category

• First prize in each category(4): Rs. 50,000/-
• Second prize in each category (4): Rs. 25,000/-
• Third prize in each category (4): Rs. 10,000/-

How to Submit?

• The letter to be written in English/Hindi/Local Language will be addressed to the Chief Postmaster General of the respective Circle. The details of the Chief General are available at this link.
• The letter to be written in English/Hindi/Local Language will be addressed to Chief Postmaster General of the respective Circle.
• The letter can be written on plain A4 size paper with a word limit of not more than 1000 words, or in an inland letter card (ILC) (not more than 500 words). Only handwritten letters will be accepted, not typed letters.
• The embossed envelope/envelope with stamp affixed for plain A4 size paper letter and the inland letter card (ILC) will be permitted stationery.
