About the quiz
"Cheetah in India" Quiz: In India, the cheetah is the only top predator that has been extirpated in historical times. Historically, Asiatic Cheetahs were very widely distributed in India from Gujarat through Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand. and Odisha in the south to Tamil Nadu. MEF & CC is hosting a quiz on MyGov.In this quiz, Each day the fastest three randomly drawn entries from all eligible and completely correct entries received will be declared the winners. Prices for participants are as follows:
• Winner Prize: INR 5000/-
• Runner-Up Prize: INR 3000/-
• Third Runner-Up Prize: INR 2000/-
• Winner Prize: INR 5000/-
• Runner-Up Prize: INR 3000/-
• Third Runner-Up Prize: INR 2000/-
Rules and conditions
- The quiz is organized by the Ministry of the Environment, Forest & Climate Change
- Quiz will open on 11 September 2022 at 3:00 AM (1ST) and close at 11:59 PM (IST) on 17 September 2022.
- Entry to the Cheetah Quiz is open to eligible participants only. An eligible entrant is a resident of Indian origin aged 10 years or above.
- If the winner is a minor, he/she will only need to be accompanied by ONE legal guardian. The guardian will have to have proof of identity and a legal relationship with the minor.
- You will need to provide your name, email address, phone number, and mailing address.
- Once submitted application cannot be downloaded.
- One participant can participate only once.
- The Organizers accept no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed or incomplete, or not submitted due to computer error or other errors beyond the Organizer's reasonable control.
- Ministry of Environment Forest & Climate Change shall not be held responsible for any loss and damage during the transit of checks to the respective winners.
- Checks are non-transferable
- Cheques cannot be redeemed/exchanged for cash. Cash cannot be claimed in lieu of checks. In the event that the winner of the competition decides not to accept the cheques, he forfeits all claims to the cheques.
- Quiz winners will be announced daily at 5:00 p.m. Each of the winners will be notified by phone or the email address they provided in their entry within three days of the announcement of the results
- If a winner cannot be contacted within three business days of being notified of the result, their theory will be forfeited and another winner will be selected from the remaining eligible entries in accordance with the above process until an uncontactable winner is selected.
- By entering the quiz, the participant accepts and agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions.
- Participants must comply with all rules and regulations for participating in the Quiz from time to time.
- Entries will be invalid if the information received by the organizer is illegible, incomplete, damaged, false, or erroneous.
- The organizers' decision on the quiz is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into in connection with it.
- These terms will be governed by the laws of the Indian Judiciary.
