About ARTstreet and MediBang

MediBang is aiming to bridge the gap between creators and their fans even more. On MediBang, users can quickly turn their comics into ebooks that people can read in their browsers the moment they’re uploaded.

Contest Guidelines

• Illustrations drawn by artificial intelligence are not eligible for this contest.
• To deliver the prize product, they might give your personal information that is necessary for the delivery (name, address, telephone number) to the prize product company or the shipping company. Thank you for your understanding in advance. 
• Entries that are sexual, or might result in causing harm to other people are not accepted. Any entries breaking this rule will be blocked or have their account suspended.
• Depictions that infringe upon the rights (image rights, copyrights, etc.) of a third party are prohibited.
• Submissions that have ever been awarded in other contests except ARTstreet cannot be submitted.
• Secondary creation or fan art is not allowed.
• No plagiarism or double (duplicate) submissions to contests other than ARTstreet are allowed.
• If the ARTstreet managing team identifies an illustration inappropriate for the contest, the contest tag or the illustration itself might get deleted.
• Please keep the original data from the start of the contest application period until the result announcement.
• Works that are submitted to the contest will be posted for free and without compensation on the website managed by MediBang, Inc., social networking services/sites, catalogues, etc., for purposes such as contest promotion, advertising, announcing the results, etc.
• After the entry period has passed, you may receive a notification from info[hyphen]contests[at]medibang[dot]com to the email address registered in your MediBang account. If you do not reply within the reply deadline, your work may be excluded. 
• You can check the email address registered in MediBang account from here.
• Please note that not everyone will receive an email from info[hyphen]contests[at]medibang[dot]com after the entry period.
• They cannot answer questions at info[hyphen]contests[at]medibang[dot]com or answer any phone calls.

Theme of the Contest

The theme for June is Weather. Sunny, rainy, or cloudy…your feelings about the day will vary depending on the weather. Add the weather elements to your illustrations to give them more backstory!

Eligibility Criteria

• Anyone can enter the contest, regardless of whether they are a professional artist or an artist by hobby.
• Contestants are welcome to submit multiple works.
• Only original works that contenders own all the rights to and are free for distribution may be submitted.
• You may enter an artwork you have posted on social media such as Twitter in the past. You can also post your contest artwork on social media during the entry period.
• You can submit any artwork that is drawn by any paint tool applications (including MediBang Paint) in analogue and digital.

Awards and Prizes

• Grand Prize (1 winner max): 50,000 JPY (approx. Rs. 29k).
• Excellent Award (1 winner max): 10,000 JPY (approx. Rs. 6k).
• Sunny Day Award (1 winner max): 10,000 JPY (approx. Rs. 6k).
• Rainy Day Award (1 winner max): 10,000 JPY (approx. Rs. 6k).
• Cloudy Day Award (1 winner max): 10,000 JPY (approx. Rs. 6k).
• Snowy Day Award (1 winner max): 10,000 JPY (approx. Rs. 6k).

Entry Format

• JPG, PNG, PSD, MDP (File size: Under 30MB).
• No designated size, but the DPI must be at least 300.

Japanese/English/Spanish/Chinese (Traditional).

How to Claim the Prize?

Prize money will be credited to your Medibang account you applied with. To receive the prize money, you need to register a PayPal account or your bank account information. (The transfer fee is borne by the winner.)
