In pursuit of self-reliance in critical technologies relevant to national security, DRDO formulates and executes programmes of scientific research, design, development, testing, and evaluation of various systems, subsystems, devices, and products required for the defense of the nation. DRDO invites applications for tenure-based engagement, as a Project Scientist ‘D’ for a program of DRDO in the chemical engineering department.

Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualification:

• At least FirstClass Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in Chemical Engineering (Chemical Technology/ Chemical Plant Engg/ Applied Chemical & Polymer Technology/ Polymer Science & Chemical Technology/ Chemical Science & Technology/ Any other relevant discipline with a qualifying degree that mentions ‘Chemical’ as the main discipline) from a recognized university or equivalent.
• Min 7 Years’ experience in experimental research, design &development of process plant/operation &maintenance of process plant / Modelling, and Process.

Desirable Qualification:

• Master’s degree in Engineering or Technology in the relevant field as mentioned in essential qualification.
• Experience in Simulation of Chemical Plants/ safety of chemical process plants.

Age Limit

Not exceeding 45 years.

Tenure

Initially, the contract will be for 3 years which may be extended depending on the performance and if the requirement exists.

Consolidated Pay per month Rs. 1,24,612/-.
