Applications are invited for the UK India TOEFL Scholarship 2023 by the National Indian Students and Alumni Union (NISAU) and ETS TOEFL. The last date for applications is July 31, 2023.

About the Scholarship

National Indian Students and Alumni Union (NISAU) and ETS TOEFL are proud to announce the ‘UK-India TOEFL Scholarship’ for 25 Indian scholars.

These scholarships, as a part of celebrations of India@75, ETS@75, and India-UK ties, will recognize and support applicants who wish to excel in academics during their undergraduate or postgraduate years at a UK university.

Successful recipients of the UK/India TOEFL NISAU Scholarship will be required to act as an ambassador for TOEFL for the duration of their studies, which may involve but is not limited to the following:

• Representing TOEFL as a student ambassador at specific events.
• Contributing to marketing and promotional materials.
• Participating in international student and advisor events.
• Contributing to creating a blog or vlog to share your experience of the TOEFL test which can inspire other test takers across India.
• Engaging with the TOEFL program as a valued member of our global alumni.

Eligibility Criteria

All the applicants must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

• A TOEFL test score of 75 out of 120.
• An offer letter from a UK University.
• Intending to study on a fee-paying undergraduate or postgraduate taught degree level course.
• Enrolling for the first time at a UK University.

Benefits

Selected candidates will get a chance to win a grant of up to Rs. 2.4 Lakhs.

Funds are intended to provide financial support for college expenses, including but not limited to tuition, books, housing deposits, and transportation, among others. A panel of NISAU and UK University representatives will select the winners of this scholarship.

Documents Required

To participate, applicants must submit:

• Their TOEFL test score report,
• An essay on ‘Creating a social impact with a UK-based Education’ [500 words],
• A list of personal & academic achievements.
