DESCRIPTION:

The grant program is looking for a Digital Transformation Technologies and Processes (DTTP) consortium to develop, demonstrate, and validate advanced digital engineering and digital manufacturing tools so that they can be adopted and implemented more quickly across the Air Force and the wider industrial base.

Early assessments using mission analysis (to explore operational value of proposed materiel solution); shrinking development time to get to production via paperless reviews, acceptance, and audits; and system modelling that enables operational and system functional insights across acquisition and operations communities are just a few of the Digital Campaign goals to be addressed by a Digital Transformation Technologies and Processes (DTTP) consortium. ways for ensuring that enterprise or system concepts meet stringent assurance, safety, and security requirements; Enhanced standardisation and common interfaces throughout the enterprise that enable alternate solutions, rapid product creation, and increased manufacturing flexibility; and model-based capabilities that improve logistics and maintenance of fielded capabilities. All of these (and many others) require a capable consortium that can assess, develop, demonstrate, reduce risk, and validate new digital engineering and digital manufacturing tools, concepts, and processes based on industry knowledge and best practises.
