ELIGIBILITY OF APPLICANTS:

All non-federal entities are eligible for the programme specified in this NOFO.

 

DESCRIPTION:

All applicants must be accredited higher education institutions, non-profit organisations, for-profit enterprises incorporated in the United States, state, local, territorial, and tribal governments, foreign public entities, and foreign organisations. Individuals and unincorporated sole proprietorships are not considered "non-federal entities," and hence are not eligible to apply for this NOFO. Federal agencies are encouraged to participate as unfunded partners even though they are not eligible for money under this NOFO. A single applicant's multiple applications will be considered by NIST. A researcher can only be named as the main investigator on one application at a time. Applicants should also avoid submitting several submissions with the same topic matter.
