The Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India invites creative individuals to participate in an exciting Logo Design Contest for the Rural Technology Action Group (RuTAG). This is a fantastic opportunity to shape the visual identity of RuTAG through unique and innovative logo designs.

About the Contest

• Eligibility: Open to all Indian citizens.
• Submission Deadline: 15th November 2024.

Awards and Recognition

• Prize Money: The winning entry will receive a cash prize of Rs. 25,000.
• Certificate of Achievement: Winner(s) will be awarded a certificate in recognition of their achievements from the Office of the PSA.

Logo Requirements

• The design must be original and free from copyright violations.
• Submissions should be in JPEG, PNG, or PDF format at a minimum resolution of 300 DPI.
• The logo must be colorful and suitable for use across both digital and print media.

Evaluation Criteria

Entries will be assessed based on:

• Creativity
• Originality
• Technical excellence
• Relevance to the RuTAG initiative

The decision of the Office of the PSA will be final and binding.

Important Notes

• Participants must comply with copyright laws; the winning logo will become the intellectual property of the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser.
• Late submissions will not be considered.
• All entries must be submitted online through email at rutag-project@psa.gov.in before the deadline.

Terms and Conditions

• The contest is open to all Indian citizens, with only one entry per participant allowed (individual or team projects).
• Entries submitted through any other medium/mode will not be considered for evaluation.
• Participants must include their name(s) and contact details (email ID, phone number, alternate phone number, and address) during submission.
• Each entry should be accompanied by a brief explanation of the logo and its essence.
• The logo must not contain any provocative, objectionable, or inappropriate content.
• The Office of the PSA is not responsible for copyright violations by participants.
• The Office of the PSA reserves the right to amend or cancel any part of the competition or its terms and conditions.

Technical Parameters

• Upload the logo in JPEG, PNG, or PDF format only.
• All fonts should be converted to Outlines/Curves.
• A specification sheet containing graphical construction of the design and theme synopsis must be submitted by the winner.
• The logo should be high resolution, with a minimum of 300 DPI and sized 15cm X 20cm.
• The file must appear clean and not pixelated when viewed on screen at 100%.
• The logo should be designed on a digital platform, and the winner must submit the design in an editable and open file format.
• The logo should be suitable for website/social media and printed materials, without any watermarks or imprints.

Evaluation Criteria

Entries will be judged based on:

• Creativity and originality
• Composition and technical excellence
• Simplicity and artistic merit
• Visual impact and relevance to RuTAG

The decision of the Office of the PSA will be final, and no clarifications will be issued. Disqualified entries will not be used by the Office of the PSA, which will hold no intellectual rights over them.
