Applications are invited for JRF (Computational & Integrative Sciences) Under SERB Funded Project at JNU, New Delhi for the year 2022. The last date of application is 4 February.

Applications are invited for the following purely temporary post of Junior Research Fellow in the SERB funded project entitled “Investigating gene regulatory networks operating downstream of OsAP2/ERF-40 during rice adventitious root development” at School of Computational & Integrative Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University.

Eligibility

M.Sc. degree or equivalent (with minimum of 55% marks) in Life Sciences/ Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics/ Computational Biology or other related field with NET/GATE qualification. Good computer skills (Linux, Perl, Java, Python, MySQL etc.), along with proven experience in NGS data analysis, bioinformatics and/or advanced molecular biology techniques is highly desirable.

Duration

The initial appointment may be for a period of six months or as per recommendation of the selection committee, which can be extended on the basis of assessment of the candidate’s performance and discretion of the Competent Authority.
