Padma Awards – one of the highest civilian Awards of the country, are conferred in three categories, namely, Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan and Padma Shri. The Awards are given in various disciplines/ fields of activities, viz.- art, social work, public affairs, science, industry, medicine, literature, sports, civil service, etc.

Like every year, irrespective of the socio-economic background, Padma awardees of 2022 demonstrated an unwavering spirit in overcoming challenges to achieve big for the country. Through this contest, MyGov invites citizens to share blogs on their favourite Padma hero whose life & works has served as an inspiration to them.
