FOSSEE Summer Fellowship 2022 at IIT Bombay [2 months; Remote]: Apply by April 7

 Applications are invited for Post Doctoral Position (Dept. of Chemistry) at IIT Ropar for the year 2022. The last date of application is 9 April.

Dedicated and hardworking candidates are invited to apply for the “ONE” Postdoctoral Position under the mentorship of Prof. Rajendra Srivastava, Department of Chemistry, IIT Ropar. The candidate will be working on BRY-Air Asia Pvt Ltd sponsored project titled “Characterization/Engineering the Synthesis of Adsorbents”.

Duration

The position is contractual and renewable for up to one year (Total duration) based on the candidate’s satisfactory performance, which will be renewed every six months. The progress of the candidate will be reviewed every three months.

Eligibility

Essential:

• The candidate should have expertise in synthesizing zeolites and metal organic framework.
• Having experience in handling and interpreting basic analytical techniques employed in catalysts characterization techniques such as XRD, surface area analysis, temperature programmed desorption, etc
• Good track record of quality publications.
• Good communication and writing skills in English.

Qualification: Ph.D. degree holders in Chemistry/Materials Science/Chemical Engineering are eligible to apply. Candidates preferably less than 40 years of age will be considered.

Amount

Minimum Rs. 45000/- (for fresh PhD) and maximum Rs. 50000/- per month (for PhD with a minimum of one year of postdoctoral experience) (HRA as per the institute rules will be given if institute accommodation is not provided).
