 Applications are invited for Chanakya Post-Doctoral Fellow at IISER Pune for the year 2022. The last date of application is 30 April.

Project Title

Quantum magnetism in two-dimension and spintronic devices.

Eligibility

• Minimum Educational Qualification: Ph.D. in Physics (Theoretical / Computational Condensed Matter Physics)
• Preference Candidates having working experience in one or more of the following fields will be preferred: First-principles calculations, Many body Physics, Quantum Magnetism, Strongly correlated electron system, Spintronics. Candidates with post-PhD experience may also be given preference.
• Age: Not more than 37 years as on last date of application

Job Requirement

Expertise in First principles calculations in quantum magnetism and device applications.

Duration

Initially for a period of one year, extendable for further period subject to satisfactory performance of the incumbent and continuation of the project.
