Job Description

The Investment professional will focus on early-stage investing in start-ups across multiple sectors. She/he will be one point contact for all Investor related interactions and facilitating the meetings/ interactions with relevant start-ups. She/he will work closely with and as an integral part of our small and collaborative team of incubation professionals.

Eligibility

Management or undergraduate degree from a top-tier institution with 2 Plus years of work experience. Work experience with an Incubator/VC firm will be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Reading/reviewing business plans and pitch decks
• Assessing market/company attractiveness to help identify compelling businesses
• Involvement in all aspects of due diligence on new investments (business analysis, industry thesis, competitive landscape, business/pricing model, and financial modeling / deal structuring)
• Investment professional will participate in and be asked to contribute to weekly internal meetings in which new investments and portfolio companies are discussed
• Working in a strategic capacity with IIMUIC’s existing portfolio companies as needed
• Preparing market analyses and presentations to drive investment decisions and for engagement with the firm’s extensive network of corporate relationships.

Duration

Initial contract will be for a period of 2 years.

Salary

Consolidated monthly payment in the range of INR 30,000/- to 35,000/- shall be paid for a contractual term of two years subject to prior experience and qualification. A higher compensation shall be considered and may be offered to deserving candidates.
