 Applications are invited for Project Associate/JRF (Chemistry) Under SERB Funded Project at NIT Calicut for the year 2022. The last date of application is 29 April.

An Offline Interview for the engagement of a ProjectAssociate-1/JRF (on contract basis) in the Department of Chemistry, NIT Calicut is scheduled to be held on 06.05.2022 at 9.30 a.m.at the Department of Chemistry, National Institute of Technology Calicut-673601.

Project Title

“Design of Functional Main Group Organometallic Molecular Scaffolds: NIR Absorbing Excellent Material for Sensing, Transportation of Bioinspired Anions, Two-photon Absorption Molecules, and OLEDs”.

Eligibility

• Qualifications: MSc Chemistry equivalent degree with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade with having valid GATE/CSIR-NET
• Desirable: Candidates having a valid CSIR/UGC-NET or GATE score card. Candidates having experience in Organic/inorganic chemistry.

Duration

12 Months (on contract basis) and may be extended based on the performance of the candidate and availability of the project fund.

Salary

Rs. 31,000/- (Rupees thirty-one thousand only) per month (consolidated).
